Wedding Participation

Wedding invitations that embody elegance and simplicity, yet enclose exquisite craftsmanship, executed entirely by hand on always finest-quality paper. Couples have at their disposal a vast selection of papers, colors, and typefaces.

The traditional invitation format provides for the announcement by the parents: on the left, the bride’s family; on the right, the groom’s family. In recent years, a simplified formula has been introduced, with the announcement by the parents presented in a less traditional but more modern way. Today, many couples prefer to announce the wedding themselves; in this case, it is up to them to decide whether to list the bride or the groom first.

Wedding invitations are usually accompanied by the reception invitation.

Booklet-style invitations

The classic and traditional booklet-style wedding invitation.

The folded card can be:

  • size 11.5x16.5 cm (closed card), in white-ivory paper or handmade straw-colored paper
  • size 14x18 cm (closed card), in white-ivory paper or handmade straw-colored paper
  • size 15x15 cm (square), in white-ivory paper

Embossed initials on invitations

An elegant and refined way to personalize your invitation. The engraving of the initials—intertwined, aligned, or stylized—is done by hand on a steel plate.
Normally, the impression is made “blind,” meaning without the use of color, so that only the pressed cardstock is embossed, highlighting the initials.
If the invitation is booklet-style, the initials are embossed on the front. If the invitation is on a single card, they are embossed at the top center.

Amalfi paper invitations

Invitation made on Amalfi paper, straw-colored, with completely irregular edges. A very fine and distinctive paper, preferably printed in English cursive. The prestigious Amalfi Paper has been produced in the Amalfi Coast area since the 13th century. Even today, it is manufactured by small artisanal paper mills strictly following ancient methods: starting from rags and plant fibers crushed with pestles, the resulting pulp is placed in water basins where it settles into special frames – thus creating sheets that are then hung individually to dry. The sheets are therefore produced one by one.

The cardstock can be:

  • closed size: 11.5x17 cm (booklet style)
  • size: 11.5x17 cm (single)
  • size: 15x15 cm (square)

Embossed cardstock invitations

Invitation printed on very heavy 600 gsm smooth ivory cardstock with embossed border. The corners can be rounded or sharp.

The embossed cardstock can be:

  • size 11.5x16.5 cm
  • size 14x18 cm
  • size 15x15 cm (square)
